You say it's p2p, but you don't advertise that use steal our files to a cloud server. What if we don't want the cloud but only p2p ? i quit

    Hi there. Thanks for your input. The peer-to-peer aspect is used whenever possible (i.e. both sender and recipient are users on Infinit and are online at the same time). This increases the performance of the service including the speed of the transfer for example. However, peer-to-peer doesn’t imply that a transfer is secure. Only encryption (p2p or not can ensure the security of data).         I too understood that Infinit was not a cloud user, and that our files would be encripted. Those were major selling points for me. Now that I've learned differently, I'm glad I didn't get more deeply into using this app than I did.
