I would like to see Infinit...

support gnome-shell

I've manually installed infinit under arch linux (by manually extracting files from the deb), and the icon is showing in the tray (bottom left) of gnome-shell, but when I use the menu show dock, nothing happens…
I suppose you're only supporting ubuntu window manager (unity), right?

do you have plans to support the widely adopted gnome shell window manager?

Same problem under Debian testing with gnome-shell. When I changed session to fluxbox it kind of worked -> it started showing dialogs windows.

        Any news on this?
this is really annoying not being able to use infinit, but it is more annoying not even knwing if you plan to take tis into account.
        Thanks

Infinit works with XFCE and KDE too (tested on fresh virtual machine with ArchLinux). Issue affects ArchLinux with Gnome 3 and Ubuntu Gnome al well. Maybe, strace logs will help to fix this problem: https://gist.github.com/s-kostyuk/7dc9b168495b45d3745e.

To developers: please, contact me if you need any additional information, including list of installed packages for both ArchLinux and Ubuntu, virtual machine images, some logs and so on. Or/and find related message from me in your mailbox.
