Pushbullet is a web app, which allows them more flexibility than us. Extensions in iOS are actually completely separate apps, and they’re limited solely to making http requests. Because Pushbullet only uses http requests in their apps, they’re able to mimic their iOS app within the extension. However, Infinit is not a web app, and is limited to our backend technology, which is a lot more powerful than that of Pushbullet.

Because Apple limits what we can do in the extension to web requests, we can only send data to the real Infinit app. In fact, Tumblr ran into the same problem, and if you are interested, you can read about it here: http://engineering.tumblr.com/post/97658880154/what-we-learned-building-the-tumblr-ios-share

We’ll be following what Apple does with extensions in order to improve this experience where we can though.

Make iOS8 share pop-up more like Pushbullet. Why on earth should I tap on «send» button and then close current app, open Infinit and resume transfer in another app. That pop-up must have dialog whom to send this file. Pushbullet's share pop-up works like charm, Infinit works inconvenient.
