Currently, if I want to send 100 photos, I need to tap all of them separately to check them.
A new mode to e.g. select the first and last photo to select all photos in between would be nice.
Other modes like "Select All" / "None" might prove useful as well.
In comparison, in the desktop application, I can use the OS file browser to select multiple files, and drag/drop.5 votes
Thank you for your suggestion. We Will certainly take it into account as we discuss our product roadmap over the coming weeks.
At the moment, it's a pain to scroll through a giant list of photos and videos. There must be a better way to organize this.5 votes
Our apologies for not providing an update sooner for this feature. We’ve looked into a better integration of content from other apps into Infinit, but unfortunately, Apple prevents any app from using content outside the camera. As a result, the only way to share folders, albums, etc. is by using the iOS 8 Share Extension. We’ll keep an eye out for new developments in iOS 9 though.
I go to camera, select pictures I'd like to send through Infinit. "Files copied!" pops out, "Open Infinit now to send them!" With app icon right next to it.
It'd be wonderful if I could click on the app icon to open the app, instead of having to search for it and launch it from homescreen.2 votes
If you report a problem, when you press send (or cancel) the dialog box simply disappears... leaving you wandering if the report was successfully sent or not.2 votes
Good idea. We’ll look into doing this soon as we improve the feedback loops in the app.
Make it possible to send iWork Documents to the iPad and then open them in iWorks Apps on iPad. Currently, this doesn not work.2 votesAdminInfinit (Support, Infinit) responded
Thanks for pointing this out. It seems that Apple changed something recently that broke our ability to support these file types. We’ve just made a fix for it, but it won’t be available until our next update. Our apologies for the inconvenience. We’ll update the status here once the update is released.
I wish Infinit would remember where I left off in between sessions of viewing video. Currently I have to write down the elapsed time so that I can scrub the playhead back to that location the next time I open the video file, which is a real bother.2 votes
There's currently no way to download from the web on iOS. But infinit can open a URL and play media files. Allowing us to download that file would in turn enable sharing to a media app for playback and management.
All this can be done by sending a media file via infinit from a PC or another device, but I'd like to do this entirely on my mobile device.1 vote
I have a 33 character password that works on the website but not on ios 9.3.2.
This is true on several devices.1 vote
Нужно видеть процент отправки фото/видео в процессе. Ждала всю ночь, видела лишь крутящееся колесико. Результат=01 vote
When you share photos, it is often very useful if you can view a larger preview of pictures your selecting WHILE you're selecting them. In Facebook, you can do this by a "long click" on a photo.1 vote
Right now, it seems like I can only add files from one app via the extension. What if I want to send several files from several apps using the extension?1 vote
Pushbullet is a web app, which allows them more flexibility than us. Extensions in iOS are actually completely separate apps, and they’re limited solely to making http requests. Because Pushbullet only uses http requests in their apps, they’re able to mimic their iOS app within the extension. However, Infinit is not a web app, and is limited to our backend technology, which is a lot more powerful than that of Pushbullet.
Because Apple limits what we can do in the extension to web requests, we can only send data to the real Infinit app. In fact, Tumblr ran into the same problem, and if you are interested, you can read about it here: http://engineering.tumblr.com/post/97658880154/what-we-learned-building-the-tumblr-ios-share
We’ll be following what Apple does with extensions in order to improve this experience where we can though.
