Great request. Thanks for the feedback! We’ll be looking into making this happen soon!
It can be great to add the Yosemite sharing system with the arrow on top of the Finder and right click -> share.
With 2 extension "share by P2P" and "share link".

Thanks for the suggestion. We’ve been thinking about this for some time, but haven’t been able to work it into our roadmap just yet. It’s most likely something we’ll be adding soon though. In the meantime you can right click any file or folder and use the sharing shortcuts from the contextual menu if you’d like!

Hi everyone. I’m sorry that you’re experiencing pauses in your transfers. I can imagine this being very frustrating. We’ll be able to help fix these problems over email. Could you please open the Terminal on your Mac and enter the following command:
tar cvf ~/.infinit/infinit-logs.tar.gz ~/.infinit/* && mv ~/.infinit/infinit-logs.tar.gz ~/Desktop/infinit-logs.tar.gz.tmp
A new file will appear on your desktop. Please send that file to me at email@example.com.
I would like the ability to see and print my history fo files sent, what I sent to whom and to be able to see all of it, sort it by person or date and then print a consolidated list based on the sorting.3 votes
Thanks so much for your suggestion. I’m sorry that this feature isn’t yet available. Our product team is working on several other features at the moment, but we’ll certainly keep this one in mind.
That can be helpful to have a search bar on the top of the link part ! I have a lot of file on the link part, and that can be cool to search with name rather than scroll to find it.4 votes
Cool idea. Thanks.
I can be usefull to separate screenshots and other file in the links part. I send a lot a for screens and some files, And i can be cool to watch screenshot sended or delete all screenshot in the same time.2 votes
This is also an interesting approach to filtering and seems linked closely to being able to filter/sort the links in general, as proposed in another post.
Macbook retina screenshots are 2x scaled so they should really be resized to 50%2 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. We’re looking at this right currently. We hope to have an update on this at our next release.
I've noticed a really small bug, yet annoying:
I'm on OSX 10.11.2, with v0.9.44, and when I receive 2 files with the same name (probably two versions of the same file, one after corrections), it downloads the second under another name, but still display the original name in the app. As a result, when I reveal the location in Finder of the second one from Infinit, it points me to the first one, and I know of 3 persons including me who got mistaken for a few seconds, but as I'm speaking of 3 tech-savvy people, I believe others could report that kind of bug.

Thanks for your suggestion. In fact, this problem is one which we should handle better. Unfortunately, when a file is sent, Infinit can’t recognize that a file with the same name exists in the download folder. As a result, the app reflects a different name than the saved file. We’ll see if we can find a work around to this. Sorry for the frustration.
Hi Infinit! I'm transferring files and folders with long names that look identical when cropped off as they currently are. Either having the UI adjust accordingly or have the file names reveal themselves in full upon cursor hover would be good improvements. Thanks, great work! :)0 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. As soon as we have some extra time, we’ll try to add this into one of our next updates.
I can be nice to have a option to set a default time validity value for screenshots (in day). I use screenshot tool, but every weeks I need to remove them manually to free space. Because screenshot tool for me is usefull to send something I see on my screen to a colleague, but 4 days later the information have not sense.
Just an option on screenshot section to set validity timer can be cool !

We’re actually thinking about this specific feature as well. It may be included in one of our later updates this fall, but we’re not 100% sure just yet.
I love this app but i hit a wall when I try to send pictures directly from my Photos app on my Mac.
I would like to be able to simply drag my pictures and videos straight from the new photos app right into Infinit for Mac. For some reason that doesn't work for me and I have to go to the folder where the pictures reside in order for me to send it. Photos and videos is what I deal with the most in collaboration with other colleagues.3 votes
Thanks for pointing this out. We hadn’t tested with many of Apple’s apps such as Photos. We can look into adding support for this in one of our upcoming reviews of the Mac app.
Casual sharing is a big part of a creative studio workflow. The power to take a screenshot and have it uploaded and a url copied to your clipboard(cloudapp), is extremely powerful. The only problem is that its on some server, amazon, google, dropbox. Working on sensitive projects with sensitive information inifints peer to peer sharing is great and would be great for casual sharing like screenshots as well. What if you take a screenshot holding a key-command or similar, and infinit automatically drops down and lets you select whom to share to.3 votes
Cool feature request to be able to do p2p screenshot sharing with a shortcut. We’ve actually built in the auto-generate link feature for screenshots (http://infinit.io/community/infinit-is-the-new-standard-in-file-sharing/), but you’re absolutely right that this could be valuable in the p2p context as well.
We used to have the icon in red, but changed it in order to support OS X 10.10’s dark mode. It seems that most users are torn between a uniform menu bar with the same icon colors and the ability to change the color of specific icons. We’ll look into offering a setting for this in any case.
CloudApp is a competing file-sharing app on the mac app store. The only reason I still keep it around instead of using infinit.io for everything is the record screen feature. I can press a keyboard shortcut or select from the menu app to record screen, and then it automatically uploads to cloud. Something like this for infinit would be AWESOME.2 votes
Hi there! Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah this is a cool feature. We’d love to have it too. It’s not something we’ve prioritized immediately since these past few weeks have there’s been a huge focus on a mobile app, but it’s definitely something we’ll consider in the near future!
